PCH Christmas cards on sale Friday

CHANDLER, Ariz. -

Starting on Friday, you can buy the Phoenix Children's Hospital Christmas cards you've heard about for months.

8-year-old Malia Height just got back from a Disney cruise with her family where they celebrated a miracle of a milestone.

"I'm celebrating my five-year cancer free anniversary," said Malia.

At just 3-years-old, Malia was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer--so rare in fact, it's often referred to as the "One in a Million Disease."

She was treated at Phoenix Children's Hospital, she underwent surgery to remove the mass and went through four months of chemotherapy.

Today, five years later, she is at the top of her game in the 3rd grade at Chandler Traditional Academy.

She is quite the artist as well.

Her love for art can be seen in her card that will be featured in this year's PCH Christmas card fundraiser.

You can buy the cards online or at valley Safeway stores.

Supporting this fundraiser helps PCH continue to save lives, like sweet Malia.

She is eternally grateful to the doctors and nurses who helped her and often refers to them as her heroes.

As to the other kids fighting cancer right now she leaves them with this: "Don't give up."
