CHICAGO (Associated Press) -

The Stanley Cup stopped by Millennium Park in Chicago on Wednesday, as the seemingly endless Blackhawks victory lap rolls on.

The City of Chicago and the Chicago Blackhawks hosted a public viewing from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events said lines were allowed to begin forming at 8 a.m. Wednesday, on the east side of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion on Randolph Street.

Visitors were welcome to take a photo with the cup, but there was not a photographer on site or a way to purchase pictures.

The Blackhawks won the National Hockey League championship in June for the second time in three years. The engraved trophy has spent the last three months traveling around Illinois.
