Woman Dies After Shooting Overnight In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. -

A woman has died after being shot Friday morning in Camden, police say.

Gunfire erupted at around 2:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of Mechanic Street.

There was no immediate word on a description of the shooter.

    SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA -- A woman is behind bars after striking a police vehicle early Sunday morning. The accident happened near 52nd Market in Southwest Philadelphia.Officers say the driver was DUI when she hit a parked police car just before 2 a.m.Both the driver that caused the accident and the police officer were taken to an area hospital for minor injuries. The officer is listed is stable condition.The driver was arrested for DUI and other related charges.
