    The doctor who became the first confirmed case of Ebola in New York City remained in stable condition on Friday.  Dr. Craig Spencer, 33, was being treated in isolation at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. Spencer returned from Euorpe via Africa on Oct. 17 after treating Ebola patients and rode the subway, went bowling and dined at a restaurant in the hours before being hospitalized.

Spencer, a member of Doctors Without Borders, is being treated in an isolation ward at Bellevue Hospital. He was listed in stable condition on Friday. His fiance is in quarantine at Bellevue. Friends and neighbors describe him as a "great guy" and a "true humanitarian."
